Tallaght Town AFC is one of the oldest soccer teams in Tallaght and was relaunched in 2017 following a successful merger with one of Tallaght’s fastest growing soccer clubs - Postal Aylesbury FC.

With the club expanding rapidly and green space at a premium in the area, our previous chiarman Alan Nolan and now current chairman Alan Merriman along with a Tallaght Town AFC stalwart Mick Whelan set about securing a return to Carolan Park for the club. The land was completely overgrown with derelict cabins, however with a strong, committee,management team and parents working diligently for months, the overgrown fields and surrounds were cleared to provide the space for football.

The committe of our club has continually aimed to improve the facilities and infrasturcture of the club and recently following extensive fundraising and further hard work of managers and committe members, we are phenomenally proud to have built our own clubhouse aptly named the "Mick Whelan Clubhouse".

Tallaght Town AFC continues to grow and currently facilitates football for over 300 kids in the area.
